What is Augur ?
Augur is a decentralized oracle and peer to peer protocol for creating prediction markets. Augur allows you to buy (bet for) or sell (bet against) each outcome. It then allows you to trade your bets in at the current market price anytime before the market is finalized. Augur has launched its V2 on 28-July-2020. There's no maximum on the amount you can wager, or on how much you can win. No overall caps or limitations on the platform in its entirety. Augur has released REP (Reputation) as its platform token. REP token holders always have a financial incentive to correct outcomes that they believe do not accurately reflect reality and receive a portion of the markets settlement fees. If you do not report correctly, you do not get the fees. If you report incorrectly, you lose your REP. Latest [public audit report](https://blog.openzeppelin.com/augur-core-v2-audit) is provided by OpenZeppelin. There's also a [bug bounty program](https://medium.com/@AugurProject/hackerone-bug-bounty-program-469dd3d1f677) for Augur.
